A standard volleyball net is 7 feet 11 5/8 inches (2.43 meters) high for men’s competition and 7 feet 4 1/8 inches (2.24 meters) high for women’s competition, measured from the center of the court. At the sidelines, the net height can be up to 3/4 inches (2 cm) higher than the regulation height at the center.
